Tastyfy Foods has been a long time in the making and the launch of Tastyfy Sauces is our first venture that culminates a love of food, and a passion to bring a unique product to help others make authentic tasty food in less time.
BACKGROUND
My passion for food goes back to my teenage years where I took pleasure in cooking for the entire family. I followed through by studying catering and hotel management - a career
path that spanned 15 years. I then went back to university and graduated with a business degree. I was still involved with food in one way or another and was primarily looking for ways of simplifying our traditionally complex cooking processes and making our rich cooking
heritage available to all. The answer was found in TASTYFY.
As a busy working mum who loves wholesome food, I was having challenging times balancing my desire to provide healthy and authentic meals vs the time needed to prepare it. So I started cooking my signature tomato and pepper sauce base ahead of time and I found that it cut down cooking time by half. I did this for over a decade and soon the young people around me started growing and up were not interested in cooking because it "took too long". Being passionate about food I volunteered to teach them my technique which helped a bit but did not fully address the issue.
I started feeling in my heart the urge to develop my sauces into a product that would benefit others but did not know how to. When young ladies around me started going to university, my gift to them was my tomato & pepper based sauces to help them cook. This was well received and appreciated which led me to want to make a difference to others as well. My research discovered that the need for wholesome convenience cooking rather than processed foods was not just for students but also the busy career person, the family or single person wanting a quick but healthy meal.
PURPOSE
